Heliconia is excited to announce the highly anticipated Season 8 premiere of its acclaimed hiking and backpacking series, Epic Trails. Season 8 is set to premiere Thursday, July 31, 2025 on FanDuel Sports Network. This season, host Mike Fink will take viewers on breathtaking journeys through the diverse landscapes of Arkansas, Scotland, Costa Rica, and the Faroe Islands.
Season 8 promises to deliver the stunning cinematography and inspiring stories that Epic Trails is known for, showcasing not only the beauty of these locations but also the unique cultures and the spirit of adventure. Viewers will be taken on hiking adventures with Mike, as he explores the hidden gems, communities, and beautiful landscapes that make these destinations truly epic.
The new season kicks off with Episode 1 as Mike Fink ventures into the rugged beauty of Arkansas’ Ozark Mountains, exploring its vast network of trails. In Episode 2, the journey continues across the Atlantic to Scotland, where Mike takes on the iconic West Highland Way by foot and by bike—joined by his father for a memorable father-son adventure. Episode 3 transports viewers to the lush rainforests and volcanic landscapes of Costa Rica, where Mike dives into the vibrant natural wonders of Central America. Lastly, in Episode 4, Mike heads to the Faroe Islands for an epic and beautiful finale to the season.
Viewers can access all episodes of Epic Trails Season 8 beginning July 31, 2025, on FanDuel Sports Network, PBS, and OutsideTV channels.
