Heliconia is thrilled to celebrate the transformation of Bally Sports into FanDuel Sports Network, marking an exciting new chapter in our journey.
Our long-standing distribution with Bally Sports has allowed us to showcase our outdoor adventure content to viewers across the nation, and this rebranding strengthens our connection with our audiences in the United States. As we continue this collaboration under the new FanDuel Sports Network brand, Heliconia looks forward to reaching even more viewers and inspiring new adventures.
Effective on October 21, 2024, Bally Sports’ 16 regional sports networks have been rebranded under the FanDuel Sports Network name. This change is part of a comprehensive partnership between Diamond Sports Group and FanDuel, with FanDuel now holding exclusive naming rights to the networks, as well as integration opportunities for its direct-to-consumer platform.
This shift represents a significant opportunity for marketing our television shows as well as our brand and tourism partners. FanDuel’s brand recognition in mainstream sports will help bridge the gap between traditional sports and outdoor adventure programming. Heliconia’s diverse range of television shows will benefit from the increased visibility and audience reach brought by FanDuel Sports Network.
“This new era with FanDuel Sports Network is a win for Heliconia. Distribution with FanDuel Sports Network enables us to reach a broader U.S. audience, supporting our mission to inspire people toward a lifetime of outdoor adventure and travel. We are excited to leverage this opportunity to elevate our television shows and partnerships to new heights.”
Brendan Mark, CEO of Heliconia
Heliconia’s content continues to showcase the benefits of outdoor adventure travel, and our distribution with FanDuel Sports Network ensures that outdoor adventure sports remain at the forefront of exciting and diverse programming.
