brendan.mark | June 29, 2023

Heliconia, the award-winning video production company behind the exciting Road Trip Angler television series, is pleased to announce that the second season of this unique adventure fishing show is set to premiere on Bally Sports Network the week of July 9th, 2023 across all their US regional networks.

Road Trip Angler follows adventure fishing expert Jameson Redding, as he travels across the US seeking out the best fisheries in the country and celebrating the people and communities that make these waters so special.  Jameson’s unique fishing approach has him exploring diverse waterways with a seamless blend of storytelling and instruction.  The premiere episode finds Jameson and local anglers salt fishing in San Marcos, Texas and then the flats of Freeport, Texas and Point Aux Chenes, Louisiana where he targets redfish.

Subsequent Road Trip Angler episodes in season 2 will find Jameson heading south to hit the spring fed rivers for bass and then to the Florida coast to chase snook under the docks. The next episode has Jameson in Columbus, Georgia where he chases hybrids, striper, spotted bass, largemouth, and shoal bass. In the season finale, Jameson puts his skills to the test as he travels to the Pacific Northwest to fish for new species in unfamiliar waters with some new NRS inflatable fishing kayaks and rafts.

The show’s premiere airing will be delivered via the Bally Sports Network group across all their regional sports networks and is only the first phase of the series’ distribution. All episodes are also being broadcast on the Wild Network, as well as the Water Network, at the beginning of August.
