Heliconia is excited to announce the premiere of Season 5 of Road Trip Angler, airing this weekend, July 5, 2026, across multiple broadcast networks, including FanDuel Sports’ national feed, NBC Sports Boston, Space City and Angels TV Network. Hosted by passionate angler Jameson Redding, the new season delivers four action-packed episodes that showcase incredible fisheries, unforgettable road trips, and the local experts who make each destination unique.
Season 5 takes viewers from the legendary waters of the Great Lakes to the hidden gems of Florida’s Forgotten Coast before wrapping up in the saltwater paradise of coastal Louisiana. Jameson Redding begins the season exploring Lake Erie and Lake Michigan alongside local fishing guides and the team at Weldcraft Marine. In Episode 2, he heads to St. Marks, Florida, where he joins friend Chris Funk in pursuit of the region’s unique Suwannee Bass, using the NRS Approach to support a lightweight, adventure-driven style of fishing. Episode 3 follows Jameson, Jesse Laspeyre, and Brooks Beatty as they travel the Florida Adventure Trail aboard the Sea Eagle FishSkiff, combining camping, paddling, and outstanding fishing, with Nokian Tyres helping power the adventure on the road. The season concludes in Pointe-aux-Chenes and Venice, Louisiana, where Jameson experiences some of the Gulf Coast’s finest inshore and offshore saltwater fishing during peak season.
Following the premiere, Road Trip Angler Season 5 will continue rolling out across Heliconia’s broadcast and distribution partners, including NBC Sports California and Philadelphia, Marquee Sports Network, Waypoint TV, World Fishing Network, Pursuit Channel, RightNow TV, OutsideTV, Altitude Sports Network, Midco and WildTV. Viewers should check their local listings and preferred platforms for availability.
Since its debut, Road Trip Angler has connected with audiences by blending exceptional fishing action with authentic storytelling and travel. Jameson’s approachable style, combined with stunning cinematography and a focus on the communities, guides, and destinations behind each adventure, makes the series appealing to seasoned anglers and anyone who enjoys exploring the outdoors.
