Heliconia is excited to announce the launch of Ken Whiting’s new YouTube channel - Ken Whiting Adventures. The new channel focuses exclusively on paddling adventures, with the goal of inspiring more people to get on the water, and to stoke the fire for paddling in those who already do. Ken also uses these adventures to test new paddlecrafts, paddling gear and camping gear, which then gets considered for one of his annual PaddleTV Awards.  

The Ken Whiting Adventures channel acknowledges that the 138,000 people who have subscribed to Ken’s original YouTube channel (PaddleTV) may have subscribed for different reasons.  Some have subscribed for Ken’s valuable instructional content and his trustworthy, in-depth gear reviews, while others have subscribed to enjoy Ken’s inspirational adventure videos.  The new channel allows people to more specifically follow the type of content that interests them. This means Ken’s followers will continue to enjoy top-tier instructional videos and gear reviews on his PaddleTV channel, while the new channel focuses on sharing paddling adventures.

The first video on Ken Whiting Adventures features an unforgettable paddling trip to Lake Superior, capturing both the beauty and raw power of the World’s largest freshwater lake. The adventure also comes with personal significance for Ken, as it resulted in a shoulder injury that has kept him off the water since early August.  

Subscribers to Ken Whiting Adventures can look forward to a range of entertaining paddling expeditions that involve sea kayaking, whitewater paddling, packrafting, stand up paddling, and more. Heliconia invites all outdoor enthusiasts and paddlers to join Ken on his adventures by subscribing to the new channel.
